A Little Bit of Our History
After launching a career in Real Estate in 2004, Mark Warlberg embraced the need for more creative financial options for clients in the commercial real estate industry. Admittedly selfish at first, he wanted to search creative ways to finance his own real projects and started his finance journey in early 2007 as a commercial mortgage broker with a small boutique firm based in Saudi. Shortly after joining the team, he began to be approached by clients seeking funding for international projects. As a solution oriented person, he began to do the research to find a solution for the client’s challenges and stumbled upon the world of international project funding.
He immediately fell in love with the opportunity to see broader visions come into focus and raise the necessary capital to move the projects forward. In a short space of time he launched the consulting division of Mecca Investors Group, originally focused on real estate Loans, and aggressively built a network of private lenders and investors. Also, assembling a team of other broker consultants he set for himself and his team a lofty goal of closing $70B in transactions Mecca Investors Group’s first year in business, which he and his team are projected to exceed by close of 2023.
